Crude drugs repository @CSIR-CIMAP is a collection of commercially important authentic medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs). The database comprises detail pharmacognostic study of authentic crude drugs and key distinguishing characters with their substitutes/adulterants. This database is relevant to pharmaceutical/ herbal drug industries to authenticate their new drug samples before going to commercial processing of large-scale batches or even during the procurement of raw drugs from markets/ local dwellers. It will help the herbal drug industries to maintain batch-to-batch consistency and quality and efficiency of the final herbal products. This database will also be helpful to the researchers, academicians, and plant lovers.
